Who we are looking for:

Auteur Research is seeking a publicist to join our team. We are looking for someone who is a dynamic, critical thinker with existing knowledge of the music industry landscape. As a company, we are continuing to look for opportunities to evolve and widen our focus in order to amplify the voices of the artists that we represent.

We’d love to hear from those with fresh perspectives who are looking to carve a new path. Work experience in the industry is fundamental for the position, but an inventive viewpoint is also essential. Individuals should possess the intrinsic ability to be highly motivated, independent, and organized. The right candidate loves publicity and is dedicated to amplifying the artists they work with.

Primary Responsibilities:

Create unique press campaigns and secure press for multiple clients at any given time
Maintain press reports and track client press coverage
Assist in communicating the status of all media outreach regularly to artist management and company management
Assist in the drafting, revising, and finalizing of press releases
Develop and execute media campaigns for Auteur Research’s clients across different genres of music, with specific target lists for each active project
Coordinate interviews and press opportunities for clients
Research new outlets and media contacts regularly

Qualifications:

2+ years of public relations experience in music
Must have established relationships with online press
Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and manages time effectively
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills are necessary
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, while being able to make adjustments quickly
