HAIDEE

Story

Hailing from a small town in the Philippines, HAIDEE’s passion for music started in karaoke, singing contests, & Sunday worship services. At 16, she moved across the world to reunite with her mom, who had immigrated seven years before. Now based in Edmonton, music remained the only thing familiar to her.

HAIDEE is driven by representation as a person of color & her place in the world as a woman, making her listeners feel seen while sparking important conversations. A compelling storyteller, her writing is acclaimed fresh & sincere inspired by songwriters Julia Michaels & NIKI. Her ability to arrange melodic themes, lush harmonies & vocal stunts takes after Ariana Grande’s as a vocal producer. HAIDEE’s influences Whitney Houston, Jessie J, Taya Smith, & Miley Cyrus shaped her into becoming a captivating live performer.

The first 3 years of HAIDEE’s career made her a household name in the Edmonton music scene, playing major venues like the Starlite Room, and festivals such as JUNOFest, & Taste Of Edmonton. HAIDEE independently landed placements with radio stations CKUA, CJSR & was CBC Radio One’s featured artist for the 2022 holiday special. HAIDEE’s latest singles “Get Over It” & “Florence” sets her apart as a promising pop rising star.
