NADUH

Story

After a potent LSD trip where they met Planet Venus, NADUH (pronounced nah-duh), was sent back to earth to shatter constructs, heal ancestral trauma, and make only the dopest sounds, laced with potent messages of empowerment, embodied sexuality, and unity consciousness. With heavy influences from 90’s R&B, soul, and modern hip-hop, the self proclaimed soft/hard music they make is representative of their queer, femme/tomboy identities, as they dance between themes of empowerment and juicy realness. The five-piece power group is a spicier Spice Girls, the female BROCKHAMPTON, with an astrological twist.

For us, it isn’t about being overtly provocative just for the sake of it. Every time we reference our sexuality through our music, it’s a reclamation of our autonomy as empowered women. It isn’t always easy for us to be so open, but it’s a part of our growth journey to be able to free ourselves of shame, to embody and embrace our sexuality.

NADUH, composed of Taraneh (aka Tee Krispil), Jenny Lea (of I M U R), Rosita Alcantara (of Off Topic), Giorgi Holiday (aka Giorgi), and Larisa Marie, write, engineer, and produce all of their music – meaning they have crafted a sound that’s truly representative of their collective energy. The group has a long list of individual accomplishments including international tours, festivals, Canadian awards, event production, fashion design, and more! Filling in the industry thigh gap, NADUH brings a distinctive sound, fat pussy energy (FPE), and personal empowerment to all.
