Meguro is one of 23 special wards in Tokyo. It’s also the name of an indie-rock duo based in Toronto. Bob sings and plays guitar. Ian plays the drums. Together they make anthemic rock music that wears its heart on its sleeve.
The two met at a party, decided to start a band and soon after began recording with producer Nixon Boyd (Hollerado, Anyway Gang) at his studio, Banquet Sound. Their debut single, “Forgotten Song,” was released in October 2021. The song was featured on 102.1 The Edge in Toronto as Alan Cross’s ’‘Undiscovered Gem of the Week” and landed a spot on The East Magazine’s list of “The Best Music of 2021.”
